An app that makes suburbs more connected, safer, and easier to navigate through verified community interactions.
Trustus is a hyperlocal social networking app that connects verified neighbours within a specific geographic area. Reimagined from an earlier responsive website into a mobile-first, high-fidelity interactive prototype set in Maroubra, Sydney, it demonstrates end-to-end product design thinking across community engagement, events, and safety.
Users can share neighbourhood updates, recommendations, and local services via a smart feed. They can organise and RSVP to events with map-based locations. They can report incidents, access emergency contacts, message neighbours directly, and use universal search and notifications to stay informed. The app uses a minimalist, Apple-inspired visual language.
The result is a platform designed to make suburbs more welcoming, connected, and safer through clear UX, trust signals, and community collaboration.
